Anyone else depressed out there? I gave my kids an extra long hug tonight as I was tucking them in to bed....
This quote was on Glen Beck today as he was talking with Senator Orrin Hatch....
"President Benson from the 1960s said Kruschev told him that Americans are so naive, we'll spoon socialism down their throat, you know, and over the years; before you know it, you'll raise the red flag. And here we are. We're at a point to where our country and our Constitution is slipping through our fingers."
Frightening.
Guess I'd better go work on my food storage.

Me too. I went to the store today just to pick up some items for storage. President Hinckley gave us warnings too, remember? Also told us not to fear, but stay close to the spirit. Hug those babies for me too, Teresa!!
I'm just sick. Can 2012 come soon enough?
You have no idea how refreshing it is to come to a blog and not see rejoicing right now. The gloating out there is sickening. I wonder how many people who are "so overjoyed and filled with hope" realize they've just openly embraced socialism.
I'm with ya. I was just sick last night when they declared victory. I was just hoping and hoping. Darn. . .what a gloomy day.
I concur. A little depressing. Trying to see the good in it all, but it's tough . . .socialism is hard to celebrate.
It is scary. It will be interesting to see what comes of all of this. I can only take comfort in knowing that it must be the Lord's will and if we are prepared we shall not fear. Thank heaven AZ was smart enough to pass prop 102.
